Refund policy
Refund Policy for EA Bridge
Effective Date: July 17, 2026
At eabridge.in, we strive to provide a smooth and fair experience for all bridge tournament participants. Please read this Refund Policy carefully before registering for any tournament.
1. Refund Request Period
1.1. Refund requests will be accepted only if submitted within 60 calendar days from the date of the original payment transaction. Requests received after this period will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
1.2. The 60-day refund period is calculated from the payment transaction date, irrespective of the tournament date.
1.3. All refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to gm@emallhotel.com before the expiry of the 60-day refund period.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refund requests may be approved, at the sole discretion of eabridge.in, for the following reasons, provided the request is received within the applicable 60-day period:
2.1. Voluntary withdrawal from the tournament by the participant.
2.2. Duplicate registration or duplicate payment made in error.
2.3. Tournament cancellation or rescheduling by eabridge.in.
2.4. Ineligibility identified after registration (for example, failure to meet the eligibility criteria for a specific event, such as the Silver Team National Master category).
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:
3.1. Refund requests submitted after the 60-day refund period.
3.2. Failure to attend the tournament without prior written notice of withdrawal.
3.3. Disqualification resulting from a violation of tournament rules, regulations, or the code of conduct.
3.4. Partial attendance or partial participation. Registration fees are not refundable on a pro-rata basis.
4. Refund Process
4.1. Submit your refund request by email to gm@emallhotel.com, including:
Registration ID
Tournament name
Participant name
Reason for the refund request
4.2. Refund requests will normally be reviewed within 5 business days.
4.3. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 15–20 business days, subject to banking and payment gateway processing times.
4.4. For Pay at Venue registrations, where applicable, refunds will be coordinated directly through the tournament desk.
5. Currency and Processing Charges
5.1. Refunds will be issued in the same currency used for the original payment (INR or USD).
5.2. Payment gateway charges, bank charges, foreign exchange conversion fees, taxes, or other transaction-related fees may be deducted or may be non-refundable, depending on the payment method and the policies of the respective financial institution or payment gateway.
6. Team and Paired Event Registrations
For team or paired events (including, but not limited to, Swiss IMP Pairs and Silver Team events):
6.1. Refund requests must clearly identify the player slot(s) for which the refund is requested.
6.2. If a player withdraws and the team continues to satisfy the minimum player requirement for the event, the refund, if approved, will be limited to that player’s proportionate share of the registration fee.
6.3. If a player’s withdrawal causes the team to fall below the minimum player requirement, the refund request will be assessed based on the circumstances of the entire team registration.
